To make our contribution to the goals and targets of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of 2015, we are committed to progressively reducing our carbon footprint.
2030 TARGET
- 50% COMPARED TO 2022 WITH 231.7 TONCO2, ZEROING OUT EMISSIONS FROM METHANE USE AND CONSEQUENTLY ALL SCOPE1 AND 2 EMISSIONS.
The calculation of our carbon footprint identified that the largest contributions of greenhouse gases come from three main sources: raw materials, methane consumption and transportation logistics.
We therefore chose to focus our efforts on these three points, for example, by increasing the use of photovoltaic panels, which are already present in the company.
We are proud to say that this pathway leads to excellent results as the emissions/production comparison between 2021 and 2022 showed a minimal increase in emissions of +5.6 percent CO2, compared to +44.8 percent in fabric produced.
